WOM with Commentary from 2022

The Way of Mastery is the book I have read and re-read more times than any other.  I was introduced to the book around 2006 when I attended an intensive experience at Heartland in Theodosia, MO.  I befriended a Unity minister there, who read some of the blog posts I was writing each week as a recap of the activities in our weekly support group.  She called me and excitedly stated that my blog posts were “just like The Way of Mastery“.  On her recommendation, I instantly ordered the book from shantichristo.com.  

The material in the book was dictated in monthly sessions from 1994 to 1997, and is ostensibly from the same consciousness that channelled A Course In Miracles in the mid 1960’s.

From the first lesson I was hooked.  I read the first lesson many times over the next weeks before feeling as though I should read the second lesson.  I could not get enough, and because I was driving a lot back then, I decided to record myself reading the chapters and then play the CD while driving.  This went on for years,  and I had recorded all of the first twenty-four lessons, when I finally introduced the book to the weekly support group.

They were thrilled.  For the next year, we did a deep dive into the explanatory videos of teaching sessions called darshans which were presented by the person who channelled the book.  Eventually the technology advanced so that I could put the mp3 files on a hidden page of my website, so that others could access the audio files of me reading the lessons verbatim.

Once I expanded the internet show to have a separate hour, I decided to read The Way of Mastery very slowly and methodically.   I decided to add my own commentary about how my understanding of those lessons has grown and changed over the years of repetition, and integration with other deep spiritual teachings.

So, I present those files here for your edification and enjoyment!
